Ludivine Baruton
Ludivine Baruton is a landscape architect with over 23 years of experience, combining two degrees in biology and plant physiology with a diploma with honours from the École
Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles (DPLG).
She developed her expertise working with leading landscape architecture firms in Berlin and London on international projects across Europe and the Middle East, before founding Blacksheepscape Studio in London in 2011.
Her work has since expanded extensively across the GCC, including major projects in Saudi Arabia such as King Salman Park and King Salman Road. She later founded Studio
Falaj in Marrakech and, in 2022, Studio Falaj Gulf in Dubai, where she leads multidisciplinary teams on large-scale parks and public realm projects.
She has also contributed to several of the Saudi Kingdom’s flagship mega-projects, including NEOM, where she developed a comprehensive plant database and new planting methodology in urban environments. Recognized as a GCC plant expert, Ludivine brings in-depth knowledge of desert endemic species and their integration into sustainable landscape design.
