Javier Gonzalez Rivero
Javier Gonzalez is a Spanish architect and Partner & CEO at 100architects, where he leads the Dubai studio and oversees the firm’s international operations. With over a decade of experience managing complex, design-driven projects across multiple regions, he brings a strategic and operational approach to the delivery of innovative urban environments.
Javier began leading projects in 2013 as a Project Manager at RTA-Office and ADOS – Architecture & Design On Site in Shanghai, contributing to a wide range of architectural and urban initiatives. Earlier in his career, he gained international experience at GENETIC DESIGN in Copenhagen, as well as LPA-Studio (Lab for Planning & Architecture) in Spain.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Architecture from the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) in Barcelona, specializing in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication.
Since joining 100architects in 2015, Javier has played a pivotal role in the firm’s global expansion, merging creative vision with strategic leadership. He has been instrumental in advancing 100architects’ mission to activate and beautify public spaces, transforming them into dynamic, inclusive environments that foster social interaction, enrich urban experiences, and create meaningful connections within cities.
