Dorothea brings with her years of valuable expertise in sustainable water management and innovative irrigation solutions designed to address the challenges of water scarcity. She has in-depth knowledge of environmentally friendly technologies, including biodegradable and efficient water storage and irrigation systems designed to promote sustainable greening and climate adaptation in horticulture and landscaping, as well as green cities for all types of plants (city trees, lawns, roof greening, soccer fields, golf courses, desert greening, slopes, etc.). She is the founder and managing partner of the internationally active LITE-SOIL, an Austrian company specializing in water storage systems and subsurface irrigation systems made from nonwovens. These systems can save up to 70% of the water used to irrigate plants. She is also Board Member of the European Irrigation Association. Previously, she held international management positions, including in the renewable energy sector.
