Ahmed Maghrabi
Ahmad Maghrabi is a seasoned Head of the Engineering Department of Parks and Afforestation at the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, bringing over 17 years of professional experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With a strong foundation in landscape architecture, environmental planning, and afforestation policy development, Ahmad has been instrumental in shaping sustainable green initiatives and enhancing urban environments across the region.
In his current role, Ahmad oversees landscape and environmental planning projects, ensuring the integration of innovative design concepts with national environmental strategies. He provides leadership in project coordination, manages multidisciplinary teams, and serves as an advisor in the development of afforestation and sustainability policies that align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
Ahmad’s expertise extends to landscape design, planning, and implementation, with a focus on creating environmentally balanced and aesthetically enriching public spaces. His strategic insight and collaborative leadership have led to numerous successful large-scale projects, earning him several national and professional awards recognizing his excellence and innovation in the field.
Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, as well as a Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture, reflecting his deep academic and practical knowledge of sustainable environmental design.
Outside his professional commitments, Ahmad is passionate about design excellence, mentorship, and landscape advisory work, frequently contributing his expertise to public and private sector projects aimed at enhancing Saudi Arabia’s natural and urban landscapes.
