George Mixioudis is a Football Ecosystem Director and FIFA Compliance Expert with more than 22 years of international experience in sports infrastructure, venue operations, and tournament delivery across FIFA, UEFA, and AFC projects. As Director of Stadia Venue Management, he leads the development of FIFA compliant stadiums, training sites, and high performance environments across Europe and the Middle East, supporting national federations, professional clubs, and leagues in achieving global standards of readiness, safety, and operational excellence. 

George has contributed to some of the world’s most significant sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, and multiple largescale venue development programmes. His expertise spans compliance, governance, venue operations, and multistakeholder coordination, ensuring that complex projects are delivered to world class specifications. 

With a strong foundation in civil engineering and extensive experience in construction management, George brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic leadership. Today, he continues to consult for professional teams and leagues, and in parallel contributing to the advancement of Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving sports ecosystem and supporting the Kingdom’s vision for global sporting excellence.
