Ayad Alrawi | Director - Landscape Architecture, Red Sea Global
With a strong passion for all things landscape architecture be it design, delivery or education, I have been at the forefront of the industry for over two decades. All starting with a degree and post graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture form Leeds Beckett University, UK and Universidade de Evora in Portugal. Which then led to over 25 years working experience throughout the middle east region, India, North Africa and the UK whilst working on some of the gulf regions biggest and most prestigious projects. These include projects such as Palm Jumeriah, Downtown Dubai, various Qatar World cup infrastructure projects and most recently some of Red Sea Globals iconic portfolio of projects. Currently working on delivery of Shura Island with eleven world class resorts as well as an intricate series of landscape corridors interconnecting all parts of the island which will create both a unique destination and landscape ecosystem.
As well as industry experience, I have conducted lectures and seminars at numerous exhibitions in Dubai, Qatar, KSA as well as the UK and been a visiting lecturer at both Leeds Beckett University and Birmingham University in the UK as well as Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates.
