Leil® Saunas (formerly Saunasell) is an Estonian sauna manufacturer with deep roots in craftsmanship and a modern, design-led approach to production. Our story began over sixteen years ago in a freezing garage, where two childhood friends built the first saunas by hand with equal parts grit and curiosity. That hands-on spirit still drives us today.

Sauna culture and its earliest roots began on Estonian lands, and we see it as our responsibility to carry that heritage forward. We’re here to share the most authentic sauna experience with the world, built on leil [hot steam released when water hits the stones] and the quiet reset only a true sauna can bring.

We design and build every sauna on our manufacturing campus in a small village in Southern Estonia, an area shaped by centuries of sauna tradition. We combine advanced production technology with deep-rooted heritage to deliver clean lines, smart assembly, efficient heating, and long-lasting performance built with Nordic wood, tempered glass, and durable components, and backed by consistent quality, unit after unit.

With a portfolio of 25+ sauna models, we offer meaningful customization so every space can feel personal: lighting options, wall and interior details, glass tint choices, and door orientation, among other tailored elements.

Today, Leil® saunas can be found in more than 45 countries, bringing Estonian sauna heritage to private homes, apartments, spas, and businesses around the world.
